Key Information:

- Rate - £14.80
- Shifts – 16 shifts per month varied but will include days, nights & weekends.

Unitrust is looking to recruit reliable Contract Support Officers to deliver security officer duties predominantly in a prestigious site in the Holborn Area and across multiple sites within London. Our colleagues are of the utmost importance to Unitrust, and we continue to grow our client base. We hold strong relationships with our colleagues and clients, ensuring the best delivery service.
The candidate we are looking for will enjoy working at different locations with different teams and occasionally single person sites. You must enjoy working on your own initiative and have a keen interest in securing our client sites. The successful Contract Support Officers will be respectful, tactful and provide excellent customer service skills. The pay rate will depend on the site you work at; we are a member of the Living Wage Foundation, with 99% of our clients paying the LLW or above. You must hold a Security Guarding or Door Supervisor SIA License to work within our business. The role would suit someone who is looking for flexibility and enjoys working in a varied role.
A day in the life as a Contract Support Officer would involve:
- Access control
- Customer service
- Fire evacuations
- Meeting and greeting
- Standing, patrolling and health & safety
Essential Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident and personable manner.
- Exceptional customer service abilities, with a strong focus on providing outstanding experiences.
- Reliability, trustworthiness, and punctuality in all responsibilities.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, multitask, and prioritise effectively.
- Physically able to perform all duties associated with the role.
- Computer confident, proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Possess a valid SIA license.
- First Aid at Work qualification.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous security experience (desired but not essential).
- Exposure to relevant Protective Security or Counter Terrorism Advice.
- Prior experience in the security industry and/or within the hospitality or corporate sectors.
- Familiarity with technologies used to detect security threats.
- Enhanced communication, listening, and customer service skills or the ability to develop further in this field.
