The predicted salary is between 31200 - 41600 £ per year.

We are looking for experienced, highly motivated Dedicated Contract Support Officers to work at a prestigious University Campus located in an iconic part of London.

Rate: £15.00 if assigned to shift on Campus (minimum rate £14.80 if working at corporate sites)

Contract Hours: 16 shifts per month minimum. Shift pattern: As requested; flexibility essential over days, nights, weekends. Shifts are 8–12 hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to staff, students, and visitors. This is a fundamental aspect of the role.
  • Be very flexible as short notice shifts may be applicable.
  • Take an active interest in, and give commitment to the client.
  • Ensure that the environment and service is truly excellent and beyond expectation.
  • Promote the client positively to all you come in contact with, throughout the customer journey.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to all tasks or challenges.
  • Ensure all contact, be it internal or external, is clear, courteous, polite, professional, and respectful.
  • Ensure complete client/tenant/other service provider confidentiality.
  • Appropriate use of CCTV/access control and any other electronic management system.
  • Be familiar with all Security and Emergency procedures on site and assist in the facilitation of their safe execution and practice.
  • All Assignment Instructions and Risk Assessments are to be reviewed.
  • Ensure that all Health and Safety and Environmental procedures are followed.
  • To complete any other reasonable task as instructed by your line manager or other Senior Manager, either Unitrust or at the request of the Client.
  • To support internal and external audit processes from Unitrust Security.
  • To act with integrity and in the best interests of the company.
  • To be resilient to working in the most sensitive environments.
  • Be prepared to manage a wide variety and diversity of scenarios, people and challenges.
  • Act in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures and the Unitrust Code of Conduct.

Security Specific Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist staff, clients, students and visitors to the premises in a warm and courteous fashion maintaining excellence as a standard throughout the customer journey.
  • Ensuring that no unauthorised persons are permitted in prohibited areas.
  • Check identity and credentials of all visitors.
  • Early identification and mitigation of any threats to persons, premises or property, escalating where appropriate to do so.
  • Rotation on different posts and shift where required.
  • Respond to alarms, key control spatial awareness when on Front of House positions.
  • Standing will be required for periods of time.
  • Record details of any suspected criminal activity on the premises (internal and external).
  • Develop and maintain positive interactive relationships with all vendors.
  • Have good knowledge of the local transport links or services in the area.
