Unitrust Protection Services is recruiting a reliable Security Officer to deliver security duties at a prestigious site in Weybridge. You will work independently and as part of an established team, ensuring the protection of our client sites and providing excellent customer service.

- Hours: Monday to Sunday, Days and Nights, 42-48 hours a week
- Rate: £13.72 per hour

Qualifications
- Over 18 years of age (SIA licence requirement)
- Must hold a valid SIA licence.
- Must be over 21 and hold a UK Driver licence for a minimum of 1 year.
- Proof of right to work within the UK
- A 5-year minimum checkable history – vital requirement!
Responsibilities
- The maintenance of good order on site, including the protection of everyone therein against violent acts, abuse and accident.
- The protection of the client’s property against loss, theft, damage (including fire and water) and waste.
- The protection of private property belonging to the client, their staff and visitors against loss, theft and damage.
- Prevent offences against the law of the land, Unitrust disciplinary codes and policies and ensure all are brought to the attention of the management.
- Ensure basic fire precautions are in place and means of escape are clear.
- Undertake internal and external patrols and inspections in accordance with Assignment Instruction/SOP’s, utilising the patrolling and reporting system where applicable.
- Working with the reception team, meet and greet visitors and ensure relevant security procedures are carried out (some standing may be required).
- Escalating any security and maintenance related issues to the Facilities Team by detailed and accurate emails/incident reports.
- Production and administration of access cards for tenants, visitors and contractors for the access control system.
- Monitor, escalates and responds to alarms as required with the CCTV, Security & BMS systems.
- As part of the Facilities Management Response Team, provide assistance with emergency procedures in accordance with instructions and training.
- Management of contractors for the client and tenants, liaising with tenants particularly during tenant fit‑out stage.
- Completing permit to work forms as required.
