Overview

Security – Dedicated Contract Support Officer at Unitrust Protection Services. This role involves being trained on a number of sites across the London portfolio, primarily based on one site depending on shift availability. The primary site is located in Canary Wharf.

Base pay range

Job Title: Dedicated Contract Support Officer

Rate: Β£14.40 per hour and CSO rate on other sites

Contracted Hours: Minimum 16 shifts per month, days, nights, and weekends

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to staff and visitors
  • Take an active interest in, and commit to the client and tenants
  • Ensure the environment and service is excellent and beyond expectation
  • Promote the client and tenants with a positive customer journey
  • Be flexible and adaptable to tasks or challenges
  • Be highly presentable, accountable; take responsibility for allocated tasks
  • Ensure all contact (internal or external) is clear, courteous, professional and respectful
  • Protect client/tenant confidentiality
  • Appropriate use of CCTV/access control and other electronic management systems; complete reports promptly
  • Complete rostered duties and related tasks to a high standard
  • Follow Health and Safety and Environmental procedures and comply with SIA or other regulations
  • Perform any other reasonable task as instructed by line managers or client/tenant requests
  • Support internal and external audit processes as required
  • Act with integrity and in the best interests of the company
  • Remain resilient in sensitive environments and manage conflict respectfully
  • Be prepared to manage a wide variety of scenarios and people

Security Specific Responsibilities

  • Welcome staff, clients, tenants, and visitors warmly and maintain high standards of service
  • Ensure no unauthorized persons enter restricted areas
  • Check identity and credentials of staff, contractors, and visitors as required
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain site security
  • Identify and mitigate threats; escalate as appropriate
  • Know the premises well to assist others with queries
  • Direct deliveries as required and cover Loading Bay when needed
  • Record details of suspected criminal activity and commence investigative procedures as necessary
  • Maintain positive relationships with staff, visitors, tenants, service providers and clients
  • Have knowledge of local transport links and services for queries
