Unitrust Protection Services is looking to recruit professional, dedicated duty security managers to deliver a best‐in‐class service to a new prestigious contract in Fitzrovia, London. You must hold a Security Guarding or Door Supervisor SIA Licence, and CCTV Public Space Surveillance is desirable.

Pay & Working Hours

  • Rate: £18.95 per hour.
  • Shifts: 4 on, 4 off – days, nights and weekends.
  • Approx. 42 hours per week.
  • Start times: 07:00 (days) & 19:00 (nights) proposed.

Role Specific Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management of the security contract at the client's premises.
  • Be the site lead with all procedures.
  • Ensure Assignment Instructions are always adhered to.
  • Ensure that all Unitrust personnel follow the correct dress code.
  • Develop relationships on site with tenants, suppliers & contractors.
  • Comply with company health and safety procedures.
  • Investigate incidents and record/report all incidents & accidents.
  • Maintain security records and logs.
  • Post/mail duties with accurate record keeping.
  • Admin duties including assistance with compliance documentation.
  • Act as incident controller and initialise call‐out procedures in critical incidents.
  • Monitor and train staff.
  • Deal with staff and visitor enquiries and requests.
  • Conduct appraisals, welfare meetings & probations.
  • Perform staff performance management where required.
  • Administer onsite patrol system.
  • Provide team mentoring, training & development.
  • Early identification and mitigation of threats.
  • Maintain outstanding knowledge of premises.
  • Record details of any suspected criminal activity.
  • Book in and manage deliveries on site.
  • Perform any reasonable instruction received from client or Unitrust management.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to staff and visitors.
  • Take an active interest in, and give commitment to the client.
  • Ensure environment and service is truly excellent and beyond expectation.
  • Be flexible, adaptable to all tasks or challenges.
  • Be highly presentable, accountable, take responsibility and ownership for tasks.
  • Ensure all contact, internal or external, is courteous, polite, professional and respectful.
  • Ensure complete client/tenant/service provider confidentiality.
  • Appropriate use of CCTV/access control and other electronic management systems.
  • Be familiar with all security and emergency procedures on site.
  • Review and maintain all assignment instructions and risk assessments.
  • Embrace and deliver bespoke training requirements.
  • Complete rostered duties and all associated tasks.

Essential Skills

  • 5‐year checkable work history in the security industry and/or hospitality sectors.
  • Interpersonal skills and confidence.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Reliable, trustworthy and punctual.
  • Resilient and calm under pressure, with ability to multi‐task.
  • Self‐confidence and an interest in self‐development.
  • Ability to work to instruction and on own initiative where required.
  • Computer literate and confident using Microsoft Office.
  • Aware of security threats.
  • Enhanced communication, listening and customer service skills.
  • Operation of any CCTV/access control communications.
