  • Objective

To work as a Core Officer, providing a high level of customer service at our client site.

Act as the first point of contact for all staff and visitors entering the building.

Liaise with the client and stakeholders.

Working alongside the wider Security Team and all service lines on site.

Ensuring the protection of persons and property and thereby the provision of a safe and secure environment.

Duties

  • Conducting searches when required by both schedule and ad hoc.
  • The maintenance of good order on site, including the protection of everyone therein against violent acts, abuse and accident.
  • The protection of the client’s property against loss, theft, damage (including fire and water) and waste.
  • The protection of private property belonging to the client, their staff and visitors against loss, theft and damage.
  • Prevent offences against the law of the land, Uni Trust disciplinary codes and policies and ensure all are brought to the attention of the management.
  • Ensure basic fire precautions are in place and means of escape are clear.
  • Undertake internal and external patrols and inspections in accordance with Assignment Instruction/SOP's. Utilising the patrolling and reporting system where applicable.
  • Working with the reception team meet and greet visitors and ensure relevant security procedures are carried out. Some standing (for more than one hour) may be required.
  • Escalating any issues security and maintenance related issues to the Facilities Team by detailed and accurate emails/incident reports.
  • Production and administration of access cards for tenants, visitors and contractors for the access control system.
  • Monitor, elevate and respond to alarms as required with the CCTV, Security & BMS systems.
  • As a part of the Facilities Management Response Team, provide, assistance with emergency procedures in accordance with instructions and training.
