Job Purpose: The role is mainly delivery of product to customers driving a 7.5 tonne lorry, however the successful candidate must be prepared to assist in the warehouse and with loading of lorry as and when required. Main Duties and Responsibilities: • Make scheduled deliveries to customers as per agreed schedule • Drive safely and follow all laws and rules of driving • Keep company vehicle clean and ensure that all required checks are made in accordance with company rules and regulations • Provide a polite and efficient to service to customers • Maintain communication with management ensuring that they are kept aware of any incidents or issues which occur on the road or at customer premises. • Provide holiday/absence cover within warehouse Keys Skills and Attributes: Essential: • Conscientious, punctual and reliable • Ability to work well under pressure • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Must be flexible this role will at times require working in warehouse • Self-motivated • Full driving licence class C1 • CPC • Digital Tacho card • Ability to carry out manual handling duties • Excellent customer service skills Desirable: • Previous experience of multi drop deliveries • Basic computer skills • Counterbalance forklift certificate If you wish to begin a career with the opportunity to progress in a business-to-business environment, please click APPLY and send us your up-to-date CV and cover letter today!
