Location: Croydon CR0 4GG
Salary: £17.00 per hour depending on experience
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8.00-17.00, Friday 8.00-13.00
Benefits: 33 days holidays, including bank holidays, contributory pension scheme, life insurance

Unitrunk Ltd is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of steel cable management systems with distribution centres throughout the UK. We are currently looking to recruit a driver to join our team at Croydon.

The Role:

The role is mainly delivery of product to customers driving a 7.5 tonne lorry, however the successful candidate must be prepared to assist in the warehouse and with loading of lorry as and when required.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Make scheduled deliveries to customers as per agreed schedule
• Drive safely and follow all laws and rules of driving
• Keep company vehicle clean and ensure that all required checks are made in accordance with company rules and regulations
• Provide a polite and efficient to service to customers
• Maintain communication with management ensuring that they are kept aware of any incidents or issues which occur on the road or at customer premises.
• Provide holiday/absence cover within warehouse

Keys Skills and Attributes:

• Conscientious, punctual and reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be flexible this role will at times require working in warehouse
• Self-motivated
• Full driving licence class C1
• CPC
• Digital Tacho card
• Ability to carry out manual handling duties
• Excellent customer service skills
• Previous experience of multi drop deliveries
• Basic computer skills
• Counterbalance forklift certificate
