As a Personal Carer you’ll provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life. Responsibilities include:
- Spending your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities.
- In home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing.
- Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan.
- Supporting with community based recreational and social activities.
- Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.
Role Requirements:
- Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification - Essential.
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential.
- Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work - Essential.
- Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc.
- Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
