BlueCare takes pride in its pioneering role in establishing specialised palliative care services throughout Queensland. We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Clinical Nurse or Registered Nurse to join our team in the Tablelands. As a valued member of our team, you will be at the forefront of BlueCare's transformative journey to expand palliative care services across the state. This unique opportunity offers:

Primarily based in Atherton/Mareeba, you will be well supported by the palliative care and the wider BlueCare community service teams, so support is always there! Together, we will make a substantial, meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve.
As our Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Development, implementation, monitoring and review of care plans
- Comprehensive and accurate assessment of residents
- Assisting with the orientation of new staff and ongoing professional development
- Support in ensuring the service meets all accreditation standards
What makes a difference for us:
- Current Registered Nurse Licence and Registration Certificate in the employing State.
- Flexibility to undertake diverse travel assignments of varying durations.
- Hold a Bachelor of Nursing degree or an equivalent qualification.
- Post graduate qualification in Palliative or related discipline or the pursuit in obtaining post grad qualifications.
- Exhibit mid to senior level proficiency in general nursing, showcasing clinical expertise and a person-centered care approach.
- Prior experience in palliative care, pain management, or acute care is highly valued.
- Demonstrated aptitude in effective communication and collaboration with clients and stakeholders to address care requirements.
- Possess a current driver's license and the confidence to navigate rural and remote areas of Queensland.
