Uniting talent are currently recruiting for a transport compliance manager for our client based in Teesside. Within this position you will ensure the transport department is managed and supported in the most efficient way possible. You will stay up to date on the advances in fleet management technology to help drive us forward. You will also work closely with our Transport Office Manager in supporting the day-to-day operation and ensuring compliance is fully adhered to.
- Manage the fleet and ensure the kit is compliant with legislation, with vehicle maintenance schedules being regularly audited and continually reviewing legislation changes.
- Ensure Health and Safety requirements of the company are met within the department.
- Point of contact for motor insurance.
- Check daily defects.
- Ensure all vehicles are licensed, registered and insured.
- Effectively manage the vehicle scheduling across the site in regards to maintenance and repairs.
- Any other duties as required.
- Travel on occasion to other depots.
