Are you a UAT Tester, with a customer service background, who is looking to be part of a small enthusiastic and passionate team?
Initially based onsite during the initial training then the role will move to Hybrid which is required to be flexible during testing projects.
To be part of and to support the testing function, by contributing to the overall quality assurance and success of project delivery and the ongoing maintenance of existing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Testing the new CRM system ‘Dynamics 365’.
* Performing all system testing for new functionality and regression testing of prior functionality.
* Using agile methodology (2-week sprint cycle) to deploy new features as part of a dedicated IT and business team.
* Good customer service skills.
* This role involves regular interaction with other team members.
* Working very closely with developers, BAs and business users.
* Work on other projects as required by the test lead dependent on workload within the CRM project.
* Due to the nature of agile delivery, workloads will vary from one sprint to the next.
* This is a manual testing job; no automation is involved.
* Supporting end users to do their UAT.
* Using ADO to manage testing and project activities - e.g. writing and running test scripts, recording bugs, commenting and updating work items, linking work items to each other where necessary.
* Regression testing of existing functionality.
Required Abilities, Knowledge & Attributes:
* A people person with good customer service skills as this role is people facing.
* Previous experience as a UAT or Manual tester or similar computer role or demonstrable knowledge of testing and desire to work as a Tester.
* MS Dynamics 365 experience.
* Very competent in Excel.
* Would suit someone from a customer service background that has been a Superuser / System Tester / UAT Tester.
* ISTQB tester qualification preferred but not essential.
* Experience implementing testing, acting as a system expert.
* Preferably have experience of producing a range of testing related documents.
* High level of accuracy essential.
* Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to a non-technical audience, both written and verbally.
* Positive attitude, proactive, adaptable and team player is essential.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure, independently on own initiative
