We are seeking an experienced Senior Lead Software Engineer/DevOps Integration Specialist to join a high-performing Equities Electronic Trading technology team within a global investment banking environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong DevOps, automation and integration expertise who has worked within electronic trading platforms and understands the demands of low-latency, high-availability financial systems.
The Role
You'll play a key role in designing, building and supporting continuous integration and automated testing solutions for critical electronic trading platforms. Working within an Agile team, you'll help deliver secure, scalable and highly resilient trading technology used across global equities markets. You'll collaborate closely with development teams, business analysts, operations and Front Office stakeholders to improve deployment processes, automate testing and support production trading environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and enhance Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Implement automation solutions for testing and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of trading systems.
- Monitor and optimise system performance and reliability.
- Support production environments and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
