Hybrid territory covering London/south of UK. £70-80K. Bonus payments - 15-20%. Pension - 3%, holidays 20 days, insurance for the individual. Travel to client site will be covered.

We are now entering an exciting period of significant growth and we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager with technical and management skills in the areas of Business Intelligence and data warehousing, reporting and analytics. To support our strategy of delivering Snowflake based solutions using a DataOps approach, the candidate must have significant experience of Cloud Based Architectures and be adept in Data Warehouse and BI/Analytics technologies.

The candidate must also possess deep experience of the sales processes within a large consulting or SI organisation, including developing new client-facing proposals and responding to RFPs. The person will apply their expertise to help our clients derive value from their internal and external sources of data. This person must be able to engage with business and IT stakeholders and articulate solutions at various levels up to CIO/CXO level.

The candidate will be able to provide our clients with a range of advice and expertise and therefore needs to have an extensive background in Data and Analytics. Our Sales Managers are expected to play a full and involved role within the team. Managing sales activities, development of solutions and knowledge management would all be in scope for the role.

The range of activities that our Sales Managers get involved with is extensive and includes:

  • Working with our Account Teams to identify Target Accounts and Opportunities
  • Building a pipeline of opportunities focused on the value that our core technology solutions can provide
  • Collaborating with our Pre-Sales experts to create powerful propositions that satisfy the needs of our clients and prospects
  • Attending initial sales meetings and meeting with our clients and prospects
  • Determining a client's business requirements and whether the products being considered are suitable
  • Deciding whether our solutions need adapting to meet the client's needs
  • Answering any technical questions the client might have
  • Presenting your findings to a technical team to act on, and then to the client
  • Negotiating the commercial proposition with the client
  • Arranging and managing meetings to close deals
  • Managing the end to end Solution and Deal review process
