The role has a shift pattern - 6am - 6pm x2 and then 6pm - 6am x 2 then 4 days off (4 days on 4 days off on rotating) or 5 days a week - 8 hours - 6am -2pm or 2pm - 10pm.

The Role
As an IT Engineer, you will be responsible for handling computer hardware, supporting and configuring smart devices, PCs, printers etc.
Key responsibilities
- Support the configuration of barcode scanners (ex. Datalogic, Motorola, Honeywell handheld, Intermec).
- Support the configuration of barcode printers for Shop Floor and Office (ex. Zebra, Printronix, Intermec).
- Support the configuration of any printer (non-barcode) on shop floor and in office like HP.
- Support the configuration of smart devices such as MX2 / Motion and Dell Tablets for workstations.
- Support the Configuration of PCs (Critical Shop Floor and Office).
- Coordinate with towers team (AM (MES, SAP), NW, DCH, EUS) for End user related activities.
- Configure the line side devices, HMIs/ MRTs, Dell Tablets/Touch Pads.
- Log on to plant floor applications, check log files, handle monitoring tools.
Your Profile
Key skills/knowledge/experience:
- Understanding of hardware and software computer applications.
- Ability to check and monitor server status and system health, event screening, etc.
- Knowledge of Windows Server, manufacturing shop floor devices such as printers, barcode scanners, HMIs, MRTs.
- Knowledge of network and device troubleshooting.
