Job Specification: Document Controller Full Time: 40 Hours per week (Monday – Thursday 8:30 – 5pm Friday 8:30 – 4pm) 21 Holidays + Bank Holidays onsite – Stoke-on-Trent Principle accountabilities: * Transferring files between internal and external systems * Management of system workflows * Understanding, creating and applying naming conventions, altering and uploading documents accordingly * Uploading approval drawings, monitoring portals for drawing comments or received information, and downloading client comments for internal review across various project portals * Collating and sending operating and maintenance manuals for clients * Updating and maintaining a library of existing manuals & documentation to bring in line with company standards * Creating and updating site-specific risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) * Updating project and delivery tracker information across all projects * Sending of CAD drawings for approval with project-specific information * Answering inbound calls and directing accordingly * Supporting the pre contracts design manager with ad hoc tasks Other tasks / general: * Answering inbound calls and directing accordingly * Supporting the pre contracts design manager with ad hoc tasks * Other administrative tasks and duties as assigned Experience: * Communication * Teamwork & relationships * Document management * Computer literate Training and qualifications * GCSE level A-C * Full training given
