Our client is the leading specialist within the construction industry. A well established business who offer a friendly environment.
The role is to provide support to the Business Development team in securing business through the production of the following: CAD details; 3D models; Project specification proposals; Test reports; Supplementary calculations.
Duties:
- To produce 2D CAD details
- To produce 3D models for Technical and Marketing purposes
- To produce project specification proposals, test reports, site visit reports, with supplementary calculations and details
- To provide technical support to customers, clients and internal team members
- To support the Technical Team in the achievement of their SMART objectives
- To maintain an up-to-date knowledge of technical matters
- To review technical data prepared by others for consistency and accuracy
- To develop, maintain and update all records, databases, CRM data and reports
- To maintain an understanding of manufacturer, contractor and other competitors, their strengths, weaknesses, systems and technologies
Candidate Requirements:
- GCSE/O Level English & Maths Grade C/4 essential
- Would consider a graduate with a degree in Architectural Technologist or Product Design or a similar degree
- AutoCAD
- 3D modelling
- Proven experience in a technical role
- Proven experience of writing technical specifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident telephone manner
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Good organisational and prioritising skills
