Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Tester to join their team. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to identify and report on potential hazards and compliance issues. My client is a specialist in electrical testing services to a range of clients.
Their Field Test & Inspection team are the heartbeat of what they do, as such they have created a commission structure that will allow you to really benefits from your hard work, upon completion of your daily minimum circuits you will begin to be paid a premium for each one thereafter. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in commercial and industrial environmentsInspect and test electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, switchgear, and control equipmentIdentify and document defects, non-compliances, and potential safety hazardsProvide clear and concise reports detailing the condition of electrical installations, including recommendations for remedial actionsEnsure all inspections are carried out in accordance with relevant standards and regulations, including BS 7671 and IET Wiring RegulationsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and best practicesCommunicate effectively with clients to explain findings, answer questions, and provide technical adviceEnsure all inspection tools and equipment are maintained and calibrated as requiredAdhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols alwaysParticipate in ongoing training and professional development activities to maintain and enhance technical skillsKey Requirements:
