Drivers Today are recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for regular general haulage work based in Tamworth, Staffordshire. We have a mixture of day and night shifts available, making this a great opportunity whether you prefer early starts, daytime driving or night work. We're looking for reliable Class 1 drivers who want regular work, weekly pay and the opportunity to build an ongoing relationship with a busy transport operation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • HGV Class 1 / Category C+E driving
  • General haulage
  • Curtain-sided vehicles
  • Trunking
  • RDC deliveries and collections
  • Local, regional and nationwide routes
  • Day and night shifts available
  • Monday to Friday work
  • Additional weekend shifts may be available
  • Ongoing work for reliable drivers

What You'll Need

  • Valid HGV Class 1 / Category C+E Licence
  • Valid Driver CPC
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time regulations
  • Previous Class 1 experience preferred
  • Maximum 6 penalty points
  • Professional and reliable attitude
  • Experience in general haulage, curtain-sided vehicles, trunking or RDC work would be advantageous.
