Fed up with never knowing whether you're working next week?
Drivers Today are looking for experienced HGV Class 2 driversfor a busy multi-drop operation in Stoke-on-Trent. This is regular, ongoing work rather than simply covering the odd shift.
The work is mainly palletised deliveries to commercial customers, driving modern curtain-sided Class 2 vehiclesaround Stoke and the surrounding region.
What does a typical day look like?
You'll start from the Stoke depot, complete your vehicle checks and head out with a planned multi-drop route.
Expect a mixture of:

Palletised multi-drop deliveries

Curtain-sided vehicles
-
Commercial and industrial customers
-
Local and regional routes
-
Deliveries and collections
-
General haulage work
It's straightforward Class 2 work, but we're looking for drivers who are comfortable with multi-drop, can manage their paperwork properly and are happy dealing with customers.
What's on offer?
£17.00 per hour PAYE including holiday pay
LTD Company drivers also welcome
You'll also get:
Monday to Friday work | Day shifts | Weekly pay | Immediate starts | Ongoing work
There may also be opportunities for additional shifts as things get busier.
Who are we looking for?
You'll need a Category C / HGV Class 2 licence, valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
Previous multi-drop, pallet or curtain-side experiencewould be ideal. More importantly, we're looking for dependable drivers who turn up when booked and take pride in doing the job properly.
Based around Stoke?
This could suit drivers living in Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Kidsgrove, Burslem, Tunstall, Hanley, Stone, Leekor surrounding areas.
