We are currently recruiting a Security Officer to work full-time, Monday to Friday, at a site in Wood Green. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and the general public. This position requires strong attention to detail, a professional attitude, and excellent communication skills.
Location: Wood Green, London
Hours: 35 hours per week
Shift timings: 0700-1430 or 1430-2200Salary: £12.50
Start Date: Immediate start available
Key Responsibilities:

Provide a visible and reassuring security presence on site

Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including all access points and public areas

Monitor CCTV systems and respond to suspicious activity or incidents

Control site access, check ID, and manage visitor sign-in procedures

Respond to emergencies, alarms, or incidents calmly and effectively

Liaise with management and contractors as needed

Maintain clear and accurate records, including daily activity reports and incident logs
Requirements:

Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervisor) – essential

Previous experience in a static or site-based security role – preferred

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong observational skills and attention to detail

Must be reliable, punctual, and eligible to work in the UK
