About the role
A Consultant (Experience) is primarily responsible for project delivery. They support Senior Consultants on the design and implementation of larger 'Experience/UX' projects and work independently on the delivery of smaller projects with minimal guidance or support from Senior Consultants. A Consultant (Experience) is an excellent practitioner of customer-centred methodologies that define and design experiences that improve patient outcomes.
As part of the role, you will be required to conduct customer research with Patients, Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), care service providers, KOLs, payers and other stakeholders involved in the delivery of experiences that improve patient outcomes. Such research will develop insight to inform an evidence-based approach to experience solution design. The Consultant (Experience) will be able to validate solutions as part of a FWH team, with clients and target users via prototypes, simulations, customer testing and co-design working sessions/workshops. Design solutions may then be delivered by multidisciplinary teams assembled from across FWH.
The role therefore requires someone with an interest in collaborating with other areas of the business, to exploit internal capabilities and synergies, and thereby develop wider client business.
Relevant areas of experience include:
- Experience strategy
- Customer research
- Omnichannel customer journey design
- Digital ecosystem design
- Service design
- Facilitation of workshops (including an interest in 'Design thinking' and co-creation with internal clients)
- The design of websites & digital marketing destinations
- Digital tools and apps
What you'll do
- Delivery of small to medium projects independently or with little or no guidance from senior consulting staff
- Design and delivery of user research, including creation of: screener, discussion guide, moderation of sessions, data reduction, and analysis, and development of recommendations from insights and any other stimulus necessary to demonstrate the impact of findings
- Project management
- Creation of research/design artefacts such as customer journeys, personas, storyboards, use cases, service blueprints, or other design concepts to demonstrate a proposition or vision of a proposed solution
- Design and run Experience/UX workshops on design, prioritization and innovation
- Understand and contribute to new project scoping, costing, approach/project design, timelines & scheduling for delivery
- Work with recruiters to manage participants, organise logistics, selection and implementation of any tools required for data gathering
- Specify navigational structures, content maps and information architectures
- Develop sketches, Lo-Fi wireframes (as clickable artboards), to Hi-Fi interactive prototypes
- Test concepts early and organize 'experience testing' in controlled market research-compliant ways
- Create client-facing deliverables and guide less-experienced Associates in best practice
- Review as an expert the digital and multichannel experience customers have with pharmaceutical healthcare brands
About you
- Experience in healthcare and or pharma
- Experience/UX craft skills and business development/client management
- Experience in designing digital products, services and understanding large-scale digital ecosystems
- Client facing and business development
- Master's in human-Centred Design (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience as a practitioner (portfolio required)
