We are currently recruiting a Security Officer to work full-time, Monday to Friday, at a site in Wood Green. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and the general public. This position requires strong attention to detail, a professional attitude, and excellent communication skills.
Location: Wood Green, London
Hours: 35 hours per week
Shift timings: 0700-1430 or 1430-2200
Salary: £12.50
Start Date: Immediate start available
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a visible and reassuring security presence on site
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including all access points and public areas
- Monitor CCTV systems and respond to suspicious activity or incidents
- Control site access, check ID, and manage visitor sign-in procedures
- Respond to emergencies, alarms, or incidents calmly and effectively
- Liaise with management and contractors as needed
- Maintain clear and accurate records, including daily activity reports and incident logs
Requirements:
- Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervisor) – essential
- Previous experience in a static or site-based security role – preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Smart appearance and professional attitude
- Must be reliable, punctual, and eligible to work in the UK
