About the Role: We’re among the very best at what we do. We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to join our mission critical Data Centre team. European travel will be required.
Ideally you will possess the following traits but is not restricted to:
- Relevant third level qualification in Construction Management/Engineering, Surveying or Supply Chain.
- 5-8 years’ experience, ideally working on Data Centre or Infrastructure projects in a similar procurement and supply chain role.
- Experience in managing direct equipment vendors would be advantageous (OFCI).
- Skilled and knowledgeable in tendering, contract management methods and procedures for 100m+ contracts.
- Experience in the procurement of goods and services across the construction industry.
- Experience and knowledge for negotiating terms for construction contracts (i.e. FIDIC, NEC, JCT).
- Knowledgeable in conducting prequalification and shortlisting of suppliers through bid analysis and expert negotiation of pricing, making award recommendations as required.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- High level of reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and computer skills.
- Shrewd precise eye for detail.
- Motivated and diligent team player who will go the extra mile.
