Position: Maintenance Electrician

Requirements:

  • To carry out reactive and planned electrical maintenance activities @ AESOps WwTW as part of an established site based maintenance team.

Objectives of the role:

  • Assist with the implementation of a comprehensive site maintenance management regime.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, schematics and O&M manuals.
  • A strong electrical fault finding capability.
  • A strong team working ethic with a flexible working approach.
  • Experience working with PLCs, star/delta startups.
  • Assist with the development of Apprentice worker(s).
  • Would be expected to share out of hours ‘call out’ responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Time served Electrician
  • Qualified to IEE Regulations 18th Edition
  • WwTW maintenance experience preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrating previous experience in a similar role is essential

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Training and competency with regards to the safe isolation of electrical and mechanical equipment essential
  • Training and qualifications related to LOLAR, PUWER and DSEAR regulations an advantage
  • 11kv High Voltage competency desirable but not essential
  • A full UK driving License is Essential

This role includes additional overtime and call out rota to be worked.
