Drivers Today are recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driversfor a busy food distribution operation based in Stoke-on-Trent.
This isn't just a driving job – it's a hands-on role where you'll be delivering chilled and frozen products to takeaway restaurants and kebab shops. If you're physically fit, enjoy being active and want regular, long-term work, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
- HGV Class 2 Refrigerated Vehicle Driver
- Temperature-controlled (chilled & frozen) vehicles
- Delivering food products to kebab shops, takeaways and food outlets
- Multi-drop deliveries
- Manual handling and heavy lifting involved
- Load your own vehicle before leaving the depot
- Unload deliveries and carry stock into customers' premises
- Use pump trucks, delivery trolleys and tail lifts
- Monday to Friday
- Start times between 04:00 and 06:00
- Immediate starts available
What We're Looking For
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Comfortable with physical work and manual handling
- Positive, hardworking attitude
- Good customer service skills
- Maximum 6 penalty points
