Drivers Today are recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driversfor a busy food distribution operation based in Stoke-on-Trent.

This isn't just a driving job – it's a hands-on role where you'll be delivering chilled and frozen products to takeaway restaurants and kebab shops. If you're physically fit, enjoy being active and want regular, long-term work, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

  • HGV Class 2 Refrigerated Vehicle Driver
  • Temperature-controlled (chilled & frozen) vehicles
  • Delivering food products to kebab shops, takeaways and food outlets
  • Multi-drop deliveries
  • Manual handling and heavy lifting involved
  • Load your own vehicle before leaving the depot
  • Unload deliveries and carry stock into customers' premises
  • Use pump trucks, delivery trolleys and tail lifts
  • Monday to Friday
  • Start times between 04:00 and 06:00
  • Immediate starts available

What We're Looking For

  • Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
  • Driver CPC Qualification Card
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Comfortable with physical work and manual handling
  • Positive, hardworking attitude
  • Good customer service skills
  • Maximum 6 penalty points
