- Overview
HGV Class 2 drivers are sought for a long-term frozen food distribution contract based in Stoke-on-Trent.
This is a hands-on role that combines driving with physical work.
You will work alongside a Driver's Mate, sharing manual handling duties throughout the day.
The Role
- HGV Class 2 Frozen Food Deliveries
- Temperature-controlled vehicles
- Multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers
- Loading your vehicle before leaving the depot
- Working alongside a Driver's Mate
- Using pump trucks and delivery trolleys
- Operating tail lifts
- Breaking down pallets and delivering stock into customers\' premises
- Sharing all handball duties with your Driver's Mate
- Monday to Friday
- Start times between 04:00 and 06:00
- Immediate starts available
What We're Looking For
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
- Good customer service skills
- Reliable, hardworking and professional attitude
- Maximum 6 penalty points
