Riverway Foods, now part of the CPC Group, produces quality sausages, with all our pork sourced from British high welfare farms. We supply leading retailers, including Aldi and Tesco. We are currently looking for a Goods In Team Leader to join our busy team. Our successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of three, ensuring that all goods in and stores operations are completed in a timely and efficient manner. If you are passionate about adding real value to our supply chain team then this could be the role for you.
Other responsibilities in this role:
- Managing daily schedule of all goods coming in to site, ensuring all stock is checked and accurately recorded upon arrival
- Rejecting deliveries that do not meet company standards
- Ensuring all stock is stored safely, securely and booked onto the system
- Matching all delivery notes to purchase orders
- Monitoring and reporting on stock levels
- Liaising with our process and planning teams
- Communicating with external suppliers
- Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures
Who we are looking for:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational skills
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative
- Knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures
- An understanding of Microsoft packages, including Excel
- System savvy
- Understanding of factory systems advantageous
