Software Engineer

Remote position in a niche consultancy focused on optimising renewable energy.

You will bring your software engineering expertise to developing solutions for this industry.

The role: Spans back-end engineering with some data engineering. Ideally, you will be confident building with Python, C#, and cloud technologies. As a consultancy, you will need to be comfortable using various tech stacks and tools. Many solutions depend heavily on data engineering and some incorporate AI.

The Opportunity: Influence the green agenda with real-world solutions, such as software that drives wind farm design and management. This business helps create better and more efficient wind farms.

The team: Comprises highly skilled engineers with a genuine interest in renewable energy. They are diverse, intelligent, inquisitive, and positive individuals.

To apply: We are seeking experienced software engineers with a strong academic background (Comp Sci degree / Masters / PhD). You should have commercial experience in software engineering (Python/C#/JavaScript) and ideally have worked on multiple solutions, adapting to different situations. An interest in AI within green energy efforts is beneficial. You should be relatively independent, as the role is fully remote.
