We're looking for a skilled 3rd Line Network Engineer with strong Fortinet experience to join a growing Network infrastructure team.
You will be working for a growing business, that invests in its technology and people. You will be working in a regulated industry, delivering best in class network solutions.
This role will suit someone who enjoys getting hands‑on with complex technical issues, taking ownership of escalations, and delivering reliable, secure network solutions across a varied environment.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Providing 3rd line support for network and security-related incidents.
- Managing and supporting Fortinet technologies, including Forti Gate firewalls.
- Troubleshooting complex routing, switching and VPN issues.
- Delivering network upgrades, migrations and improvement projects.
- Ensuring network performance, availability and security are maintained to a high standard.
- Working closely with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges.
- Producing and maintaining technical documentation.
What We're Looking For
- Strong Fortinet knowledge, particularly Forti Gate.
- Experience with BGP, OSPF, VLANs and VPN technologies.
- Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex issues independently.
- Clear communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ideally you’ll have;
- Fortinet certifications.
- Experience with Cisco, Aruba or Juniper technologies.
- Exposure to Azure or AWS networking.
