I’m working with a growing business in Birmingham that’s investing heavily in its technology team and looking to hire a strong 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer. This isn’t one of those roles where you’ll just be resetting servers and firefighting tickets all day. You’ll be heavily involved in both BAU and infrastructure projects, working across core systems, improving environments, introducing new technologies and helping shape the future of the platform as the business continues to grow.

Tech wise, they’re looking for experience with:

  • Windows Server
  • VMware
  • Veeam
  • PowerShell
  • Azure

The environment is hybrid virtualised on-prem / Azure Cloud, so experience managing servers, storage and backup infrastructure on-prem is key. What makes this role stand out is the opportunity to genuinely develop. There’s a lot of investment going into IT, loads of hands-on project exposure, and the chance to progress as the team grows. Hybrid working, strong tech exposure and a business that’s actually moving forward.

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
