About the role:
We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable and customer-focused Casual Food Services Assistants to join our team at our aged care home in Kingsville. Working as part of a supportive hospitality team, you will assist with meal preparation, food service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety, while contributing to the wellbeing and quality of life of our residents. The shift times for this site are:
- 6:30am to 2:30pm
- 8:00am to 2:00pm
- 3:00pm to 7:30pm
Successful applicants must be available and willing to work across all shift times listed above. Due to the nature of casual employment, flexibility is essential, and applicants must have a minimum of three weekdays of availability. Tasks include:
- Working within a multidisciplinary team, maintaining daily and periodic cleaning schedules for food preparation and food service areas
- Serving residents meals in dining hall services and trolley service to rooms, washing dishes, sandwich making, providing cups of tea or coffee to residents and their visitors
- Provide feedback regarding residents’ likes and dislikes regarding menu planning and escape any observations or concerns in residents conditions
- Promote and participate in quality activities, and provide outstanding customer service maintaining friendly, supportive and professional relationships with residents, their relatives and friends
- Support colleagues by sharing knowledge and expertise
About you:
