About the Role

The role is initially for 6 months and involves acting as the first point of contact for candidates, recruitment agencies, and internal stakeholders while ensuring a smooth and professional hiring process from initial enquiry to onboarding.

Our client, an established Educational Trust, is looking for a proactive Recruitment Coordinator to join their HR team on a 6-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering a smooth, professional, and compliant recruitment experience from first contact through to onboarding.

Salary: £28,000.00 per year pro rata for 6 month contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for candidates, agencies, and stakeholders
  • Manage recruitment administration, including applications, documentation, and HR systems
  • Coordinate interviews, including scheduling, room bookings, and interview packs
  • Support shortlisting processes and ensure compliance with safer recruitment practices
  • Handle pre-employment checks, including references and documentation
  • Welcome candidates onsite and conduct ID checks
  • Draft offer letters and support onboarding activities
  • Maintain job adverts and support attraction strategies
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in HR or recruitment administration
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Understanding of safer recruitment (desirable)
  • Experience in education or social care (advantageous)
  • Own transport as there is no public transport to location

Requirements

  • Good general education (A Level or equivalent)
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
