Graduate Maintenance Electrical Engineer (Shift Work) Near Nantwich, Cheshire

Full-Time | Permanent

Guaranteed Basic Earnings: £36,070+ per annum (plus overtime opportunities)

Our client is a leading supplier of high-quality animal and livestock feeds, supporting farmers across Cheshire, Lancashire, Staffordshire, Shropshire, and North Wales. Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a Graduate Maintenance Electrical Engineer to join their growing maintenance team.

As part of our maintenance engineering team, you will primarily be based at our Aston Mill site near Nantwich, with occasional travel to other HJ Lea sites across the North West. Following training, you will work a rotating shift pattern and participate in an out-of-hours and weekend call-out rota once fully trained.

  • Carry out electrical maintenance and fault finding across industrial machinery and systems
  • Support automation and PLC-controlled processes
  • Assist with industrial electrical installations and upgrades
  • Read and interpret electrical control drawings
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance and production teams

Requirements:

  • BSc in Electrical Engineering OR completed Electrical Engineering apprenticeship
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong communication skills with a good command of written and spoken English
  • Flexible and proactive approach to work
  • Experience within an industrial/manufacturing environment
