Due to the retirement of the current post holder, the School is looking to appoint a highly motivated, organised and committed School Business Manager to join the School Leadership Team and drive improving standards across the School.
As a member of the School's Leadership Team, you will ensure the provision of efficient and effective support services throughout the school, taking a lead in the strategic planning, organisation and delivery of areas including:
- Managing the School’s finances
- Overseeing management of the premises
- Leading on Health and Safety
- Leading HR practice and policy
In addition, you will lead a team of non-teaching support staff, acting as the Line Manager for the Office team and the School’s Site Services Manager. There will be a requirement for you to attend occasional evening meetings, for which either payment or time off in lieu will be made.
The successful applicant will have experience of managing staff and have either (or all!) management experience in the following areas:
- Health and Safety
- Financial and Budgetary control
- Human Resources
- Premises and Site
Please note that this is a term time only role and annual leave is not permitted to be taken during the working weeks of this role.
