We’re looking for a Communications Manager to lead and deliver communications across a large-scale contract supporting 164 primary schools. This is a unique opportunity to shape how schools, parents, and communities connect—driving engagement, satisfaction, and long-term growth.

About the Company: My client is a world leading Facilities company. They have contracts with Education, NHS, Government Bodies and Financial Institutions.

About the Role: The Communications Manager is responsible for managing and delivering all communications across a single, large-scale contract covering 164 primary schools. The role supports engagement with parents, teachers, school leaders and students, ensuring consistent, clear and engaging communication that enhances customer satisfaction, contract performance and long-term growth. The role plays a critical part in pre‑contract engagement, working with the Key Account Director, Brand Manager and contract leadership to ensure a smooth, well‑communicated transition and strong engagement prior to go‑live.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in communications or marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in education or public sector environments (desirable)
  • Data-driven mindset with reporting experience (desirable)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communications & Engagement: Lead and deliver the overall communication strategy, create and distribute campaigns, menus, and updates, ensure all communications are inclusive, accessible, and on-brand, collaborate closely with Brand and leadership teams, lead engagement activity ahead of contract go-live, plan and deliver roadshows across up to 80 schools, drive early adoption of communication platforms, build awareness, trust, and excitement within school communities.
  • Strategic Growth: Support growth through targeted engagement campaigns, identify opportunities to increase participation and uptake, contribute to account planning and performance reviews.
  • Stakeholder & Community Engagement: Work with school leaders, teachers, and community partners, tailor communication approaches for individual schools, support events, launches, and engagement initiatives.
  • Insight & Reporting: Design and manage surveys and feedback tools, produce monthly reports aligned to KPIs, use data and insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Client Relationship Management: Support client meetings with clear, data-driven reporting, build strong, transparent relationships with stakeholders.
