Overview
The Immigration and Compliance Team in Student Experience requires a team of staff to assist with the enrolment process for new international students joining the University of Warwick for the new academic year. The role involves undertaking in-person checks of students’ visas and passports to verify that they hold immigration permission to study at the University and ensuring accurate recording of this information.
Responsibilities
Conduct in-person checks of visas and passports at campus events.
Verify and record immigration permission details in the University’s student records system (Evision).
Maintain accurate and up-to-date information and evidence of immigration status.
Qualifications
Ability to work accurately and independently with excellent attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle confidential personal data in accordance with data protection requirements.
Polite, pleasant manner and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
Comfortable using IT and email systems. Some experience with the University’s student records system (Evision) is advantageous but not essential – full training will be provided.
Working Conditions
Location: University of Warwick main campus. Work is in person, both office based and at student-facing events.
Remote or hybrid working is not available for this role.
Start date – 1 September 2026. Full training will be provided upon starting. Employment may continue until 6 October 2026, depending on workload.
Staff must be available to work on Saturday 26 September 2026 and Sunday 27 September 2026.
