Responsibilities
To assist in the management of data on clinical trials carried out within the Warwick Clinical Trials Unit.
To ensure that data is entered onto the database within appropriate timescales; dispatch paper forms, as necessary; contact research sites and participants to encourage return of their complete data and query any missingness; and ensure that all documentation is filed effectively.
To support the trial management team in the preparation of materials for use by sites, participants and WCTU colleagues.
Qualifications
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with Maths and English of Grade C/4 or above.
- Proven data management experience.
- Ability to work accurately and methodically with excellent attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent standard of written English.
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with ability to communicate with a range of people.
- A good understanding of why it is important to maintain confidentiality.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Willingness and flexibility to adjust to changing requirements in a challenging environment.
Desirable
- A-Level education or equivalent.
- Experience of working in healthcare or research environment.
- Interest in clinical trials and medical research.
