We are recruiting an Electrical Engineer to join a well-established medical building services business operating across Shropshire and surrounding areas. This is a long-term opportunity within a stable, blue-chip environment. You will be responsible for electrical maintenance and compliance work across a range of sites, ensuring systems are safe, compliant, and maintained to a high standard. Key duties include:

  • Electrical maintenance and testing
  • Fire safety and compliance checks
  • Emergency lighting testing and repairs
  • Completion and management of compliance testing and logbooks
  • Working independently from daily work instructions provided via iPad
  • Communicating clearly with the wider team where needed

This role is largely maintenance and compliance-based rather than installation work.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Electrical Engineer
  • Relevant electrical qualifications essential
  • QS / NICEIC / ECA registration (or working towards)
  • Experience in compliance, testing, or maintenance preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and professionalism
  • Comfortable working independently in a high-trust environment
  • Ideally based in or around Shropshire (local travel required)
