What you'll do:
- Program managers build an understanding of our client's business, population and objectives to recommend engagement strategies and bring fresh ideas to improve service and achieve better health outcomes.
- They help employers build a culture of health with a dedicated well-being strategy through thought leadership, industry insights, data analysis and measurement, vendor management, health strategy design and development, and benchmarking.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assesses client population health needs using available claims data, utilization statistics, and satisfaction to identify opportunities and develop tactical project plans.
- Collaborates with key client stakeholders to develop and assist with a cohesive, holistic and data focused population health strategy to drive health improvement and resiliency of the employee population.
- Develops and executes population health project management activities locally and on a global scale.
- Defines, promotes and delivers local health events, webinars, trainings, etc. to drive engagement in client wellness programs.
- Oversees and works across all population health vendors to remove barriers, enhance referral pathways and create integration opportunities under a unified strategy.
- Conducts impact analysis of population health initiatives, benchmarks programming and utilises claim and related data to monitor, track, forecast, and analyse trends & challenges, to identify opportunities to drive further engagement and clinical value.
- Collaborates regularly with the client's internal support structure along with Optum operations, engagement, sales and account management teams.
- Handles and stores all data in compliance with relevant data protection laws and policies.
- Responds to client suggestions, concerns, and complaints in a timely, professional, and consistent manner while providing the gold standard in customer service.
- Implements and follows all Workplace Well-being and client policies and procedures.
- Completes all assigned education coursework and trainings within the first 30 days of date of hire.
- Performs any other projects and responsibilities as required.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in a related field, such as health promotion, health education or public health.
- Proven extensive experience in health promotion, health management or corporate wellness.
- Proven solid experience with large healthcare project management and people management.
- Proven experience of supporting health & wellbeing to national / international / complex environments.
- Demonstrable success in delivering effective health & wellbeing strategies/initiatives.
- Proven excellent project management skills managing multiple projects at once.
- Proven experience in developing both internal and external strategic partner relationships and collaboration in progressing best practice Health & Wellbeing strategy/plan.
- Proven experience of working with a diverse range of stakeholders including a successful track record of influencing and engagement and able to establish credibility and build relationships.
- Proven ability to present information using a variety of techniques such as in-person, virtual, group, webinars.
- Demonstrated sound knowledge of multiple communication channels, digital and physical, curating messaging to suit the audience.
- Demonstrated innovation and creativity through problem-solving and decision making.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information in a clear and compelling way.
- Proven solid curiosity & self-drive, able to prioritise, work independently and manage own time, with limited supervision.
