About the Role
We’re looking for an AUSLAN-fluent Support Worker to support participants who are Deaf or hard of hearing, located in one of our Vertical Villages in Marrylands. You’ll play a vital role in helping them:
- Build confidence and independence
- Access community activities and appointments
- Organise and participate in daily routines
- Develop life skills like budgeting, cooking, and planning
- Communicate effectively and confidently in their preferred language
- Navigate services, transport, or local supports
This is a social, empowering role – you’re not doing things for people, but with them.

What You’ll Need
- Fluency in AUSLAN (essential)
- Experience in disability, mental health, or community support
- Strong communication, patience, and the ability to build trust
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid, Driver’s Licence, insured vehicle
- Cert III or IV in Disability or Individual Support (preferred but not essential)
