As a CSR in a veterinary practice, you need compassion, multitasking skills, and the ability to connect with both people and pets. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional service to clients in person and by phone
  • Schedule appointments, manage records, create estimates, and process invoices
  • Show empathy and professionalism in emotionally charged situations
  • Maintain a clean and organized front office and lobby
  • Educate clients on wellness plans, products, and services
  • Handle opening/closing procedures, end-of-day reports, and deposits
  • Manage data entry including patient records, client questionnaires, and referrals
  • Distribute mail and ensure referral materials and lab results reach the veterinarian
  • Assist with patient intake and ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in a veterinary or medical office preferred
  • Proficient in computer systems and front desk equipment
  • Comfortable with basic math and payment processing
  • Strong understanding of veterinary terminology and clear communication skills
  • Ability to triage calls and walk-ins to determine urgency
  • Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude and professional demeanor
  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods
