Job Purpose

We’re looking for a proactive, team-oriented individual to help keep our wastewater treatment sites operating safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role based on site, where you’ll be supporting essential processes across multiple treatment locations.

From collecting samples and carrying out routine checks to maintaining site cleanliness and responding to issues as they arise. Your work will contribute directly to protecting the environment, public health, and the communities we serve.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Carrying out day-to-day operational and maintenance tasks across wastewater treatment processes.
  • Support the achievement of environmental, safety, and performance standards.
  • Taking a hands-on approach to both planned and reactive work.
  • Remain adaptable and responsive to changing priorities and site needs.

Technical Skills & Experience

  • A full UK driving license is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in real time.
  • Able to always follow processes and work safely.
  • Comfortable working in a practical, physically active role.
  • Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • A flexible approach to work changing tasks and priorities.

Qualifications

You must have a minimum of five GCSE\’s at grades 9-4 (or equivalent), including English, Maths and Science.
