What you’ll be doing
- Shape the narrative – Develop a clear, evidence-based story that brings together strategy, investment priorities and technical insight.
- Connect complex inputs – Integrate modelling, technical documents, business cases and assurance outputs into a cohesive whole.
- Collaborate across the business – Partner with colleagues in strategy, engineering, finance, delivery and more to align thinking and strengthen the submission.
- Create clarity from complexity – Ensure content is well-structured, consistent and easy to understand for a wide range of audiences.
- Support decision-making – Prepare materials and insights for senior leaders and governance forums.
- Keep things on track – Help align programme milestones, dependencies and risks to deliver high-quality outputs.
- Engage stakeholders – Represent the technical narrative in conversations across the organisation and beyond.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in strategy, programme delivery, regulation, planning or similar fields.
- The ability to translate complex or technical information into clear, engaging content.
- Confidence working across teams and building relationships in collaborative environments.
- Strong communication skills, including working with senior stakeholders.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to challenge and bring clarity to complexity.
- Experience in regulated sectors (e.g. water, energy, infrastructure) is helpful but not essential.
