The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, team-focused individual to help keep our wastewater treatment sites running smoothly – a role that’s vital for protecting public health and the environment.
Based on site, you’ll carry out essential tasks across multiple treatment locations, ensuring we meet critical environmental, safety, and customer standards. From taking samples and readings to cleaning and routine checks, your work will directly contribute to:

Key Accountabilities
- Carrying out day-to-day operational and maintenance tasks across wastewater treatment processes.
- Helping ensure our sites meet environmental regulations and performance targets.
- Taking a hands-on approach to both planned and reactive work.
- Adapting to change tasks and priorities as needed.
- Carry out routine checks, inspections, and maintenance tasks across operational sites.
- Support with investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions where required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimise contractors to deliver operational objectives.
- A full UK driving license is required.
- Worked in a related industry with similar operational environments and technical demands.
- Knowledge of environmental output standards, compliance requirements, and procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Able to always follow processes and work safely.
- Comfortable working in a physically active, hands-on role.
- Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- A flexible approach to work changing tasks and priorities.
- Willingness and ability to work towards an accredited qualification relevant to the role.
