We\’re looking for a proactive and detail-focused individual to take responsibility for the delivery of key operational tasks across our Bioresource Treatment Assets – working on a 4 on / 4 off rota to keep our sites running smoothly. This role is critical in helping us achieve regulatory compliance, financial performance, customer satisfaction, and core business targets. You\’ll ensure that all assets are operated efficiently and safely, meeting the highest standards for health and safety, environmental compliance, and customer service. Day-to-day, you\’ll be involved in:
- Sampling and taking readings to monitor performance
- Analysing data to maintain compliance and optimise operations
- Cleaning and routine checks to keep assets running smoothly
Role Accountabilities
- Deliver identified operational tasks across all Bioresource Treatment Assets within a designated asset base.
- Support achievement of regulatory, financial, customer, and key business performance targets.
- Ensure all assets are operated efficiently to meet:
- Regulatory compliance standards
- Health and Safety requirements
- Customer Service expectations.
- Carry out essential activities, including:
- Sampling and taking readings
- Analysing data
- Cleaning and routine checks
- The nature of this activity will be physically demanding and will require flexibility in a mixture of proactive and reactive work orders.
Requirements & Skills
- Full UK driving licence is required with the ability to work a 4 on-4 off rota pattern.
- Experience in a similar environment with demonstrable transferable skills.
- Knowledge of environmental output standards, compliance requirements, and procedures.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to think on your feet.
- Ability to follow processes and work safely at all times.
- Comfortable in a physically active, hands‑on role.
- Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Flexible approach to changing tasks and priorities.
- Willingness and ability to work towards an accredited qualification relevant to the role.
