Job Purpose
Play a key role in delivering WINEP and Net Zero peatland restoration projects, supporting strategic water initiatives, and ensuring strong partnerships across internal teams and external organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver WINEP and Net Zero peatland restoration projects in full, ensuring all evidence is captured for regulatory reporting.
- Support the Catchment Partnership Officer with delivering AMP8 strategic water projects and stakeholder engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders to ensure successful on-the-ground project delivery.
- Assist with regulatory reporting, investigations, data gathering, and translating technical information for varied audiences.
- Represent the Catchment team internally and externally, providing updates, presentations, and coordination of Net Zero monitoring.
- Identify partnership, community investment, and grant opportunities aligned with company strategy.
What We Are Looking For
- HNC or equivalent qualification in environmental or agricultural disciplines related to Catchment Management.
- Strong experience in biodiversity, rural land use, agronomy, peatland restoration, and carbon accounting.
- Proven delivery of catchment-scale projects, supporting Project Managers throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders and balance competing priorities.
- Strong organisational, analytical, and planning abilities, with good financial awareness and competence in technical/commercial processes.
- Knowledge of biodiversity, water pollution issues, water industry operations/regulation, and confidence using digital tools and data systems.
