United Utilities delivers essential water services to homes and businesses across the Northwest. They are currently looking for organised, people-focused individuals to join their team as Case Owners within the non-household metering team.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll manage a caseload of non-household metering cases from start to finish. You’ll schedule and coordinate meter installation and exchange jobs, update market systems to ensure data accuracy, and liaise with customers, retailers, and internal teams to resolve queries. You’ll also monitor progress, provide regular updates and take ownership from start to finish to give a smooth customer journey and support process improvements while ensuring compliance with market codes and SLAs.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage an end-to-end caseload of non-household metering cases.
  • Schedule and coordinate meter installation and exchange jobs, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Liaise with retailers, customers, and internal teams to resolve queries and issues.
  • Update and monitor market operating systems (e.g. CMOS), correcting exceptions and ensuring data integrity.
  • Provide regular progress updates and maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Support process improvements and ensure compliance with market codes and SLAs.

What You Need to Know

  • Hourly rate: £16.29 PAYE (paid weekly, one week in arrears)
  • Location: Lingley Mere Business Park, Great Sankey, Warrington, WA5 3LP (Full-time, on-site)
  • Start date: 26th May 2026
  • Contract: 12-month temporary assignment via Reed Talent Solutions (United Utilities trusted recruitment partner)

Working Hours & Training

  • Monday to Friday, between 8am and 6pm
  • Full on-the-job training provided
