You’ll join a dedicated team of Technical Officers as a Spill and Flow Technical Officer, taking the lead on how we manage, monitor, and improve our flow and spill assets. This isn’t a desk‑only role; you’ll analyse performance trends, influence decisions, and work hands‑on on site.
What you’ll be doing:
- Turn operational data into clear insights, spotting risks early and driving corrective action.
- Work closely with regional teams to ensure all flow and spill sites meet environmental and regulatory standards.
- Carry out site inspections and investigations to identify the causes of spills and find practical solutions.
- Provide accurate, high‑quality data for regulatory submissions and communications with the Environment Agency.
- Support and challenge operational teams to maintain safe, reliable, and efficient processes.
- Ensure telemetry alarms are fit for purpose to identify potential non‑compliant spills.
- Share your expertise through coaching, training, and promoting best practice across the team.
