We are recruiting four Mechanical Fitters to provide mechanical maintenance and technical support for inlet screens, driving improved preventative maintenance and asset availability across Greater Manchester and Merseyside.
Responsibilities
- Provide efficient mechanical maintenance and repair services to ensure optimal asset availability while staying within budget and quality parameters.
- Work with the Scheduling team to complete all planned work scheduled within agreed service levels.
- Perform planned and proactive maintenance activities to maintain asset availability and efficient operation.
- Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations and internal company policies.
- Provide reliable, accurate, and complete asset performance and repair information for entry into corporate systems to support analysis and improvement.
Qualifications
- Qualified City and Guilds or National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 3 (or equivalent) in a primary mechanical discipline.
- Water Industry experience – 3+ years (preferable).
- Practical and theoretical knowledge of mechanical rotating equipment.
- Sound working knowledge of wastewater process where appropriate.
- Knowledge of safe systems of work, company policy, statutory regulations, operations procedures, maintenance procedures and administration procedures.
- Full UK driving licence required.
